It’s been a few months since I published hmmmm….  written plenty I hate to admit but, still the three-year old hiding never mind that…  Anyway, life has done a 180 and then another change and now here we all are here.  Jumping off into new horizons, all of us doing what must be done.  That old song radioactive keeps running through my head.  My grandson will be here soon, I await his arrival, funny he is due the same time that his dad was supposed to make his appearance.  Another circle, another time, we are blessed.  Our home now has four doggies.  There is a part of me that is afraid of ending up on animal hoarding, I remember to well my first foray into way too many animals at the house and there is a dang good reason they build stables, but, I digress.  It certainly did take on the atmosphere of a lunatic asylum more often than not,  Aw, to be young and well young!  After all that is the only time you can have such a variety of animals or should I say livestock , and think it actually makes sense.  Nothing like real live Farmville, actually use those eggs to bake a cake.  what an idea!

Be very afraid or at least maybe I should be I am going to try my hand at web site building maybe make something work  It will certainly be a challenge, take a hold of future prospects and see what will be.  This old dog needs to learn some new  tricks, but, luckily I have had good role models who I have seen pick up their most important skills later in life so that they may flourish,  and keep up with the age that was upon them.    After all the freedom of having years upon you, you get to the might as well phase of life.  It always bothers me that I cannot get my mother who was a career teacher to use a computer or even email, and forget a debit card.  We could talk everyday, she would get pictures constantly (something she kvetches about)  it is maddening for sure.  In her circle of friends though there are some very computer savvy souls, but, don’t  talk to her about all that stuff and nonsense.  She does not want to hear it, I keep expecting her to stick her fingers in her ears and go nah nah nah nah nah……..  Now to get her to pose for that pic….  uh huh sure like that will happen!  I wouldn’t do that to her she is a pretty great human being after all, and deserves better than me, but, don’t tell her I said so!

And then the other Mother the one I rarely speak of , though not a day goes by without her presence in my mind, and her influence upon my actions.   It started when I was three and somethings never change.  She’s gone now for good, she can keep an eye on us all from the other side.  I was one of the lucky people in this world who lost their siblings and parents due to adoption, and regained them later in life.  Everyone deserves to know their roots.  Having them back, and I can’t even describe the joy of the relationships with the family that I had lost and the relationships with the following generations.  It’s been always interesting to explain how everybody is related with everyone’s differing last names.  Like all families we have gone on with life in the 2 decades we have been back in contact, the cycle of life continues births deaths, tragedy and triumph and just regular old everyday life

And of course we are coming up on a year since anybody has  heard from  Lisa Lynn Stone, on the 30th of this month, her story will be aired on 48 hours. Without Tina Wiley leading the charge, it is for sure that this case would have been a long forgotten cold case.  It is an example of friendship that is exceptional. We should all be so lucky, to have such a friend. One of these days the truth will come out, we all have our suspicions, whether it will be in time for the guilty to pay or not remains to be seen.    Though it has always been my experience that karma isn’t just a joke.  What goes around certainly does come around.

Our house is on puppie alert as we are expecting new pups any time now, then right after that the other one is getting ready to drop a few more pups our way.  I imagine we will be visiting the spay and neuter clinic very soon.  lol.  will post pic when they arrive, after we get them presentable…

It was so good to see my nieces the other day they drove up from south texas to have lunch with me.   One of those famous road trips to check on all the old folks so to speak, and of course meet their newest cousin in law to be.  hey I’ll admit I live here in Redneckville, and to be quite blunt about it perfectly comfortable with the address,  The timing was odd as like a lot of far-flung families we see each other at funerals, and we had just received word of my biological mothers passing, the girls grandmother.    So not much else to say this evening, hope all is well with you all.

virtual redecorating much easier in the virtual world than real life renovation…

Been moving the chickens, and the trees and the fences and the hanging plant trellises.  I haven’t gotten up from my chair to do any of that,, Now yes I ‘ve gotten up other things have needed doing.  but, the renovations on the virtual farm have been painless, unless I’m developing carpel tunnel from too much clicking  Since I began  it’s been an interesting journey, it started from pretty much a solitary endeavor and then turned into a social one and then evolved into an activity that I share with the people who I work with..  When I started , my farm was several haphazard plots, and more often than not I would come back to dead crops, if it wasn’t for the coins from the trees and barnyard animals, that spread would have been abandoned a long time ago.     When I got serious, and why I got serious I have no idea but, I did and then the plow and plant  until the coin ran out , then come back and do it again.  My family wasn’t to happy with me to say the least…

The farm was calling my name and there were crops that needed harvesting, boy if the real world had growth cycles that quick, no one would starve . but I digress,  I’ve been asked what it is I enjoy about the game and that is easy, all the neat, nice and varied folks you meet from everywhere,  a truly free exchange of speech, that in itself is amazing.   The neat orderly world you can create and keep it that way!!!  And, as long as I keep planting and plowing and harvesting the trees and animals, I can go to the market and get most anything they have to offer.  Another thing I like is I can keep  on adopting animals and they pay me!!!   I know my heritage  shining through…  Sometimes, I look at all the critters I got on that farm think I’ve lost my mind.    Someday I will actually count them up, oh wait there’s golden chicken, brb…
