Sometimes life happens that way…Are you serious, as my friend says…

It took me less than a minute to find the woman on Facebook, another minute or so to find her address, place of employment, her position and tenure  there. Her kids names her husband’s name and employer, and other relatives names, and a wealth of other information.    It did not take me long at all, so I really want to ask this woman, ” ARE YOU SERIOUS????? ”   Now days  access to the internet is  available to most anyone,  And you are ignorant enough to leave a rude note on a credit card slip, are you just not real bright???  These folks had received exemplary service they ran up a decent bill, it was a cheap out, a ghetto move all the way.  And the woman was right sometimes life happens that way, but, be warned others might go farther than I, I just wanted to know how fast I could flesh her out, and it was pretty darn instantaneous.  The marvels of modern days, you see it doesn’t matter that they were rude,  folks who think they should get a free ride, well… what goes around comes around…

dogs have always been the best type of friends.

As I consider my lovely girl Dixie, what a peaceful and kind creature she is.  My son commented the other day about how she was never mad at anybody.  You can always count on your dog to be excited by your return.  A true friend to your child, they love you every day no matter what your mood or whether you got it all right that day or not.  She came into my life after I had ended a relationship, and we,  my son and I,  had moved into our own home.  The first time the man I ended up marrying came over, she jumped into his arms, and decided that he was her man. She stalks him around the house, he rarely can go anywhere without her nose  in it. She truly also has the same vigilance when in comes to the rest of us.  It’s not to far of a stretch there are only three of us to keep on her radar.  But, she does save her top vigilance for the master.  Of all the dogs I’ve had she has the most interesting likes when it comes to food, smoked oysters and shrimp top the list with fish and rellanos right there. She cracks me up, she not to fond of red meat.   most of my other dogs would do backflips for beef.  All of us who have a dog in our heart have a memory that lives in our soul.  It’s a good thing.

good morning once again…

Hello, and what do we visit about today.  Watching my son  this afternoon, his girlfriend came over to visit, it reminded me of back in the day  when we were young and still believed that we knew it all.  I of course know better now.  No one told me that the older I got the less I would believe in.  In a way it is sad when you know better than to think in a certain way because, just cuz, its pretty to think so doesn’t make it so..  Oh Well that’s life.  Forever is a  lie we tell because its easy to believe when you are young.  That evil will be punished and that if you do things right things will go well okay I know you are holding your sides and laughing until it hurts.  Of course there are the blessed out there who have no idea what I’m talking about since the sun has shone brightly on them.  Of  course, I really don’t believe that anyone gets out without some scars  Anyway, ya’ll visit my website order something great so here’s the address  See you there thanks Suzi

Good early morn

Whatever will this day bring,  sometimes I wonder how one could go ahead and take one’s own life, since life so often turns on a dime so to speak.  In the past few days two people I knew, not well but, for many years have passed on.  Neither one of these people had any tolerance for quitters.  Speaking of quitting I had to laugh tonight when one of my fellow servers asked me what happened to our dishwasher and I popped off that he had gotten tired of doing dishes.  apparently he truly had gotten tired, another one bites  the dust.   And that’s one of the positions in a restaurant that actually gets paid, dishwashers and cooks, everyone else here in Texas unless the company is   paying decent haha  gets by with paying  servers and your buspeople less than minimum wage.  Than the servers in most establishments have to pay the bus people and the bartenders and sometimes the hostess and sometimes the food runner a percentage of their money.  It’s is bad enough that the corporations and the restaurant owners get away with not paying their people,  Maybe you can understand better why servers don’t appreciate crappy tips or no tips,  How would you feel if at your job, you had to pay the other people who work there  out of the money you make , yet your lining the companies pocket that you both are working for?  I lost all respect for Suze Orman the financial advisor when she suggested that in these hard times you only tip ten percent .  Might I suggest that she can put that tip right where the sun don’t shine.  If you are going to disrespect someone who provides you with a service, by cheaping out.  Imagine how you would feel…

today we start

Most people who know would probably say that I haven’t had a stellar year.  Yet here on this day I look back and still feel thankful for all the bounty that has come our way.    And yet once again my husband shares with us, life is rich and wonderful in so many ways.:]    We are settled in again into our own abode, and not sharing space with the in-laws, and this wasn’t mom and dad it was brothers, sisters, and aunts and an evil uncle, who lived down the road.  Every tale needs a dark force, and, each time I look up another character joins sometimes dancing back and forth between the light and the dark..  They all end up somewhere in the end, who am I to say..   I watch people everyday, waiting tables is an education unto  itself.  I have worked with the public pretty much most my adult life in many different capacities..  It is hard for someone to actually surprise me.  The one truth I do know is that most folks are inherently good intentioned sometimes definitely misguided but the positive intentions are there and that is enough for life to be the wonderfully amusing rollercoaster ride that it is.  So, today like all days is a good day for that is the choice that is made at the beginning of each day…
